Our digs for the night

Our home for the night, Hotel 27: Mississippi's only nonprofit hotel

Located along the levee in downtown Greenville, this beautiful old building was originally built as the headquarters for the Mississippi Levee Board in 1883.

A bit more about this historic hotel and its current role in the community, from the Hotel 27 website:

At Hotel 27, we believe we are a departure from the conventional hotel just as the land which surrounds us is a departure from the rolling hills which signal the Delta’s borders. Booking with us is more than booking a hotel room. It is investing in a community.

Owned and operated by Main Street Greenville, Hotel 27 is not just another hospitality company. We are a part of a non-profit which roots its efforts in being the catalyst for the preservation and economic revitalization of Greenville’s Historic Downtown District.
